1. What these Terms cover
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are the agreement between you and agent-cv for use of agent-cv.dev and related hosted features (sign-in, profile hosting, sync, and editor)—collectively the "Service".
By using the Service (including creating an account or publishing a profile), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2. Accounts and your content
You are responsible for activity under your account and for the accuracy and legality of content you publish. You confirm you have the rights needed to display that content on the web. You grant us a non-exclusive license to host, store, transmit, and display your published profile and related assets solely to operate and improve the Service.
Profiles often include AI-assisted descriptions produced on your machine before you sync. You choose what to publish; you are solely responsible for reviewing that material for correctness, fairness, and compliance with law before it goes live. We do not verify project narratives, skill claims, or third-party metadata (for example from public GitHub data) for accuracy.
When your profile is public, we may expose it through ordinary web pages and machine-readable formats (for example feeds or llm.txt-style endpoints) as part of the Service. Anything you publish may be copied or indexed by visitors or search engines outside our control.
3. Acceptable use
You will not use the Service to violate law, infringe others' rights, distribute malware, harass anyone, scrape the Service in a way that impairs it, or attempt unauthorized access to our or others' systems or data.
4. Removing content and data
You may remove your published profile from agent-cv.dev at any time by running agent-cv unpublish in the agent-cv CLI. See our Privacy Policy for other deletion requests.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to delete, remove, redact, or restrict access to any content, profile data, or other information associated with the Service—including published profiles and data we store on your behalf—for any reason we consider appropriate. That includes (without limitation) addressing abuse or suspected violations of these Terms, complying with law or lawful requests, protecting the security or integrity of the Service or other users, reducing operational or legal risk, or winding down or migrating the Service. We have no duty to retain copies, and we may act with or without prior notice when we judge notice impractical or harmful.
5. Changes and availability
We may change features, impose limits, or suspend or discontinue all or part of the Service. Where a change materially affects you, we will use reasonable means to give notice (for example on this page or by email when we have your address). We may also update these Terms; the "Last updated" date will change. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
6. Disclaimers (Service)
THE HOSTED SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
We do not endorse user-generated profiles. Third-party links or integrations (for example GitHub) are subject to their own terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your reliance on profile content (including AI-generated text), from errors or omissions in GitHub-derived or other third-party data, or from the acts of other users or external sites.
